In the late 90’s, Richard Caceres was managing the Multi-Code brand of access control products for Stanley Door Systems. Then, unexpectedly, Stanley sold the Multi-Code brand to Linear. Amidst the North American market already lacking a high quality, American-made line of access control products, the sale wedged further the divide between where the market was and where it should be.
Rich decided to bridge the divide.
Working with his team in the summer of 1999, a line-up of Multi-Code and Stanley compatible access control products were developed, designed, and tooled-up. Next came delivery. The distributor and dealer market responded positively and has continued to do so up to this day, 25 years later: The Digi-Code product line delivers high-quality products at prices which make some of our competitor’s shiver.
Digi-Code specializes in access control devices for garage doors and automatic gate systems, with products for both the residential and commercial markets. Our products are compatible with many larger brands: Linear®, Multi-Code®, Stanley®, Chamberlain®, LiftMaster®, Craftsman®, and Genie®. And our line is more than just remotes and receivers: wireless keypads, beam sensors, and open-close-stop controls. We’re especially excited to bring you our latest project too, our line Delta 3 Compatible transmitters.
After 25 years we continue our commitment to delivering high-quality, dependable products at a great price. We don’t think this old dog needs a new trick. The trick we have has always, and will always, work.
